With Rev. Kokyo Henkel
September 5 - 6, 2024
DESCRIPTION
On Thursday, September 5th, and Friday, September 6th, Rev. Kōkyō Henkel will give two Dharma Talks on Suzuki Roshi’s Teachings of Big Mind and Buddha Nature. Both talks will be offered online and on site. These talks will be offered in conjunction with the Ascending the Mountain Ceremony taking place in Germany, during which Zentatsu Baker Roshi will officially hand over the spiritual leadership of the Dharma Sangha to his successor Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi.
Much of this historic Ceremonial Weekend will be streamed. There will be a concurrent sangha event here at CMZC to allow Sangha Members here to honor the moment, and to join the event from afar as much as possible. Kokyo’s talks will be part of the event here.
There is one registration for both, or either of the talks. Both will occur at 7:30 pm Mountain Daylight Time.
