New Year's Seminar 2025
With Zentatsu Baker Roshi
December 28, 2024 - January 1, 2025
We invite you to join Crestone Mountain Zen Center’s Annual New Year’s Seminar. Join the Dharma Lectures examining the imaginal or real field connecting us with everything. And join us ringing the traditionally Sacred 108 Bells in order to enter the New Year with decision.
The Seminar will be led by Zentatsu Baker Roshi. We will sit together during the Seminar. There will be Teaching and Discussion in the mornings and afternoons. And there will be the shared work of the Seminar and the Center.
The Seminar begins the evening of December 28th. On New Year’s Eve there will be a festive dinner and a dance party. Then we will end the ‘time-hours’ of this incredible year sitting Zazen until midnight, while taking turns ringing the big Densho Bell 108 times.
In the morning, there will be a New Year’s Day Brunch.
The cost of the seminar is $450.00, which includes accommodations, meals, and all practice events. It is traditional, but not required to make a teaching donation as well.
Please join us for this final practice event of the year.
