July Practice Week 2024
With Zentatsu Baker Roshi
July 9 - 14, 2024
Join us for the July Practice Week led by Zentatsu Richard Baker Roshi.
The Practice Week will begin in the evening with an opening dinner and end on Sunday after brunch. The topic will be developed through dharma talks each morning, and discussions or personal study time in the afternoon. The practice will include morning, afternoon, and evening Zazen, service in the Zendo, and a period of work practice.
Baker Roshi will be leading the Practice Week from Germany. Lectures may be live-streamed via Zoom.
Participants do not need to have experience with Zen practice or familiarity with previous events at CMZC. This event is beginner friendly and allows the opportunity to explore integrating the practice on and off the cushion. Most meals during the Practice Week will be eaten in oryoki style. We ask that returning practitioners bring their own oryoki set.
