Engaging the Heart of Wisdom - Pathways for Meeting Uncertainty
With Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi and Zentatsu Baker Roshi
May 23 - 25, 2025
We invite you to join us in person at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center for the opening weekend of the Dharma Academy, our new online platform dedicated to embodied practice.
This live, onsite event runs from the evening of Friday, May 23 through noon on Sunday, May 25. It will include shared zazen practice, live teachings, community conversation, and participation in a panel featuring senior Zen teachers from across the U.S.
Nicole Baden Roshi, Richard Baker Roshi, and Sarabinh Levy-Brightman will be teaching onsite throughout the weekend. The Dharma Academy team will also be present to help host the event and support your experience. All other speakers will join us via livestream and interactive online formats.
Over the course of the weekend, we will explore how contemplative practice can support us in meeting the complexity and uncertainty of modern life — individually and together. There will be time for quiet reflection, walks on the land, shared meals, and the unique atmosphere of practice in community. Guests are welcome to arrive early or extend their stay, as space allows.
Whether you’re new to Zen or have practiced for years, this weekend offers an opportunity to sit together, connect with each other, and be part of something new as we launch the Dharma Academy.
Please register early, as space is limited.
