With Zentatsu Baker Roshi and Tatsudo Nicole Baden Roshi
January 18 - April 14, 2025
At Crestone Mountain Zen Center, we continue the monastic tradition of the 90-day Practice Period. During the Practice Period residents and students are engaged in a rigorous daily schedule of Zazen, oryoki meals, dharma talks, study, and ceremony. All Practice Period participants live together for three months without leaving the premises of the monastery.
The 30th Crestone Mountain Zen Center Practice Period will be held from January 18th-April 14th, 2025. For practitioners who have an established relationship with Crestone Mountain Zen Center, we offer short-term participation from 5 to 20 days. Short-term participants may either:
Stay for one monk week between Feb 4 and Mar 29 (5 days)
Stay for two monk weeks between Feb 4 and Mar 29 (10 days)
Combine one monk week with Sesshin: Mar 24 – Apr 8 (15 days)
Combine two monk weeks with Sesshin: Mar 19 – Apr 8 (20 days)
